Purchased two Sandglass Lanterns to take on an upcoming camping trip with the grandkids. For the size of the lanterns I was surprised at how much light they produced, even on the low setting. I hung one lantern at each end of the tarp and they lit up the area well enough to prepare the evening meal without having to struggle to see or use a head torch. I love that the lanterns have a magnetic base which makes them even more versatile. I would recommend these lanterns if anyone is considering them.

Firstly, this thing is adorable! It’s so tiny it fits in the palm of my hand but behaves like the big boys in light output. I’m a sucker for long burn times so I usually use it on the minimum setting and your eyes do adjust. It’s just the right light to have a rousing conversation over a pint. Loves me my adorable ‘banisher of the dark’.

Small but powerful with 5 modes including red and red flashing. Graet addition to hammock camping.
