Q: Can this be used with the fire maple X2?
A: Absolutely! With your X2 you received a silver adaptor with legs. The legs face up, towards the pot, or pan and the outside legs sit on the outer ring. I think there's a pic on their page. Once you figure it out, simple. You can put anything on top of it. Keep in mind that you are NOT using the 1.5l pot that comes with the X2 when you are using the accessories. Hope this makes sense!

Q: Can it be used over an open fire, like a wood fire?
A: Not recommended, but our stainless steel Antarcti pot and kettle are great for that!

Q: Do they work on induction plates?

A: Unfortunately, as the cookware set is made of aluminum, it is not compatible with induction plates. Aluminum is not a magnetic material and therefore does not work on induction stoves.
